Today we had Kansas weather... windy :) and quick changing! However, I managed to get items! Yay! From www.etsy.com/shop/EskimoKissez.

I think it'll be a gift to my little sister.
Oh yeah, I know, I took photos at night... which is a big no no, but I had to show off! Give me a break! (Please?)

Oh and just wanted to introduce Skillet again! :)

Look how big he is now!

He's not as friendly as he used to be, but that'll make it a lot easier to butcher him (I think).

I got him as an eating bird; I am totally for raising your own food, knowing where it comes from and giving your food the life it deserves... despite me being SO attached to this sucker.

Since I've kicked him out, I've been a lot less attached. But he's so cute!

Here he is, partially pink from eating watermelon and blinking; hence his clear opaque eyes!

And his Light Sussex "sibling" who is just growing in her feathers... and is in the goofy, sort of ugly stage of feathering out *giggles*

There he goes, eyeballing a bantam egg. "What the heck is that?!"

Where have I been?

So here I am all boogered up over my blog name... I didn't know you couldn't change the name of your blog after you picked it!

Sheesh, boy was I wrong! So here I am, pouting. I had a lot of blog-stuff to post and I have to wait THREE months before I can set up my new blog name and start my blog up again!

Oh Boo. BOO!

Anyways, here are some photos... lots of nice days :)

I'll try not to be too big a pain in the rear.

Pups got a dog yesterday... strangely enough the bunny had a white diamond in the middle of its forehead... domesticated somewhere in the bloodline?

And then we have my little pink hairless rat... who needs a home!

And of course.... wanted to show off my Marans eggs... that "white" egg there is actually a light brown... what most people think when they see "brown" eggs... the sunlight is on them so that just shows how light those brown eggs are!

Peonies + Puppies

So I thought the peonies coming up were the prettiest things I have ever seen! They seem to always blossom around Memorial day and they are so large! I couldn't help but bring one inside! Boyfriend found a blue 1/2 gallon Mason jar and I knew right what its purpose in life would be! Isn't it pretty?

Here are my two Blue Laced Red Wyandotte (Splash) Roosters out grabbin' a snack before everyone else! I think they're so pretty!

Anyways, while outside feeding the birds one day... I came across this! I wonder who did this?

Of course, I can't forget Little Blue (Bear). She's been so darn cute these past couple of days! I've gotta say, I have been pretty sad Pinkie found a home with a friend of ours that needed a pick-me-up! Here are a few pictures of Pinkie and Little Bear and a lot of pictures of Little Bear!
