His story was that I traded a couple pullets for these two boys to a gal with six kids. I remember all six of her kids coming by to pick up baby chicks and in return, I traded them some chicks, because these were family pets that the kids just could not see going away as feed! "Regal" is the white rooster with the speckled feathers; his brother had colors around his crown like a Delaware, but not enough black on his tail to be considered one?I don't know - I just remember two kids bringing these big ol' boys up to me. You could tell they were well-loved, cared for and just overall considered pets to these kids. I agreed to take them, but with over 300+ birds to care for, these guys had to go. I brought "Regal" out with me along with his brother down to Wichita and sold him to a grandmother with kids. She was thrilled that "Regal" was so friendly! I was pretty sad, but glad they were going to a good home! Anyways, I just remember "Regal" following me all around the house before he was off to his new home. I hope him and his brother are having a grand time with their new flock of girlfriends!
I guess other than that, I wanted to say, roosters can find good homes - you've just gotta wait it out and work on it. I gave these boys up because I adored them! I knew I couldn't have 2342342 roosters at the farm and I knew they would have a better chance this way! So yup!
